Before you apply
- This form should be submitted by the current licence holder or an authorised representative acting on their behalf to seek consent to sublicense the berthing area to a third party.
- Determine the term of the sub-licence agreement – minimum term is 12 months. Maximum term is 5 years. Term should not exceed remaining term of the existing licence.
- Obtain agreement to sublicence from another party where a jetty is shared.
- Prepare the documents you will need to complete this application.

- A completed berthing area occupancy agreement.
- Download and complete the Deed Poll – Sublicence of berthing area (PDF, 162 KB).
- A diagram or accurate sketch of the berthing area.
Next steps
- If approved, the terms of the domestic waterfront licence agreement will be varied to authorise sublicensing of the approved berthing area.
- There will be an additional sublicensing charge included in the annual rent for your domestic waterfront licence.
