Additional information for expiring Term leases in the Western Division. This includes term residential leases at Lightning Ridge Opal Fields (known as Camps on Claims).
The department is committed to offering new term Crown leases to replace the existing term WLL, where possible.
Existing leaseholders will be contacted by the department 2 years prior to their expiry date to commence proceedings for a new term Crown lease.
The department will not be considering any application for a new term Crown lease any earlier than 2 years prior to the expiry date of the existing lease. The application will be assessed according to the expiry date of the existing lease.
Supporting documentation
- A New Term Crown Lease in the Western Division - Lease holder/s consent form (PDF 122 KB) signed by all parties in support of this application
- Photo Identification
- A current ASIC company search showing all the directors
- A certificate of incorporation and minutes showing elected officer bearers
- Evidence of authority to act where applicable
- Certified copy of registered power of attorney where applicable
